The Board of
Directors is pleased to announce the
recipients of the 2009 Kristeller-Popkin
Travel
Fellowships:
Pietro Daniel
Omodeo
Dr.
Omodeo will use the fellowship to begin a study
of Nicholas of Cusa’s views on nature. He
proposes to spend three months at the
Kusanuforschung in Trier, Germany, examining
their rich collection of manuscripts and other
sources relating to Nicholas of Cusa.

Skelton (University of Western Ontario)
Professor
Skelton
will use the fellowship for a study of Hastings
Rashdall’s (1858-1924) meta-ethics. He proposes
to spend a week in Oxford examining Rashdall’s
philosophical papers and correspondence at the
Bodleian Library, Pusey House, and New College,
where the bulk of Rashdall’s papers are stored.
