Kristeller-Popkin Travel Fellowships

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2009 Kristeller-Popkin Travel Fellowships:

Pietro Daniel Omodeo

Dr. Omodeo will use the fellowship to begin a study of Nicholas of Cusa’s views on nature. He proposes to spend three months at the Kusanuforschung in Trier, Germany, examining their rich collection of manuscripts and other sources relating to Nicholas of Cusa.

Anthony Skelton (University of Western Ontario)

Professor Skelton will use the fellowship for a study of Hastings Rashdall’s (1858-1924) meta-ethics. He proposes to spend a week in Oxford examining Rashdall’s philosophical papers and correspondence at the Bodleian Library, Pusey House, and New College, where the bulk of Rashdall’s papers are stored.
